Frome International Climate Film Festival Award Winner

COP26 and beyond are really grateful to Climates / Frome International Climate Film Festival 2023 , and to James Godman, for the Highly Commended award given to our film ‘Climate Carnage in Pakistan’.

The title of the film was the description given by U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres following last year’s catastrophic floods in Pakistan. You can see the film below, and read more about it using this link: https://www.cop26andbeyond.com/blog/climate-carnage-in-pakistan-cop27

For this film, we were really grateful to our friends at MOCK COP and Teach the Future for helping to get it shown at the Children and Youth Pavilion at the COP27 climate talks in Sharmh el Sheikh, Egypt.

The film was edited and put together by Sam Wilson, who also wrote the music for it. For the footage we are grateful to the National Commission for Human Development, working under Pakistan’s Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and Haani Mazari from EdTech Hub

We dedicate this award to all the staff of the National Commission for Human Development, Pakistan, in recognition of the great work they have been doing on flood relief and literacy programmes across the country.
